About The Team

The Marketing team spans many aspects of the business and includes roles in Graphic Design, Social Media, and Public Relations, to name a few. Since the roles with this department are varied, so are the people—in the best way. This team is laser focused on bringing the brand to life through rich storytelling, and they work together to accomplish this across multiple media channels and platforms.

This role Reports to the Creative Director.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all elements of editorial photoshoots, including concepting, planning, styling, casting, on-set art direction, retouching, and deployment of all assets (including site implementation of editorial campaigns)
  • Developing creative work with strong conceptual and strategic foundations
  • Pursuing and maintaining an exceptional level of craft with the highest design standards and attention to detail across typography, layout, print and digital
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the creative team, focused on functional, delightful, beautiful user experiences across all brand touchpoints
  • Lead and direct designers on all launch creative through each stage and across multiple touch points; emails, ads, organic social, site and print assets associated with a product launch or campaign
  • Co-manage and distribute work with contractors and more junior team members ensuring team members are being utilized effectively
  • Hires and retains top talent. Responsible for performance management of direct reports. Develops talent through coaching and mentoring
  • Coordinate asset delivery across projects to ensure that work gets delivered on time, on budget to a high standard
  • Create high quality presentations of creative work for internal and external use
  • Presenting work thoughtfully and confidently to cross functional and leadership teams

You Have

  • 4-7 years of experience as an Art Director
  • High level of skills in design programs (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch/Figma)
  • Post-production skills to edit video, create motion graphics, make retouching notes, design typographic treatments etc.
  • Strong understanding of peripheral design processes (Photo Art Direction, Illustration Art Direction, Print Production, working directly with developers…)
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach
  • Strong understanding of how people shop online and how cross-channel and social platforms integrate with ecommerce websites

Pay Range

$105,000-$120,000 annually. Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
