Senior UI Designer Job Role

As a Senior UI Designer at izest, you'll play a pivotal role in our growing team. You'll be an integral part of a multifaceted squad comprising strategy, marketing, branding, design, and digital expertise. Collaborating closely with the Creative Director, you'll contribute to various ongoing projects while also having the autonomy to drive individual initiatives forward.

The Role Will Entail

• Being a vital member of our dynamic and expanding team
• Collaborating with professionals in strategy, marketing, branding, design, and digital
• Engaging closely with the Creative Director on diverse projects while demonstrating the ability to work independently
• Passion for typography and meticulous typesetting
• Artworking final project outputs
• Creating award-winning designs
• Proficient in Figma, with experience in building systems within the software
• Proven track record in successful digital rollout projects
• Comfortable with the end-to-end process of web project development, from sitemaps and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes
• Digital-first approach to creative solutions
• Leading projects across various touchpoints, maintaining client liaison throughout
• Experienced in UX/UI design in an agency environment
• Comfortable making evidence-based design decisions through research and observation
• Proficient in using the Figma prototyping platform
• Able to demonstrate your work through a strong portfolio
• Able to work efficiently with tight timelines
• Enjoy experimenting, making rapid decisions, and learning from failures
• Strong grasp of accessible and inclusive design
• Understanding of design systems
• Knowledgeable about how websites and digital applications are built and their impact on design
• Understand how to optimize designs for SEO
  

Must Have

• 6-8 years of commercial graphic design experience, preferably agency-side
• Showcase work integrating graphic design, motion design, and animation into the UX/UI of diverse digital products.
• Figma advocacy
• Exceptional communication skills
• Graphic Design degree
• Experience in working with external parties (clients/suppliers)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Bonus: Experience in After Effects, video editing, and animation
