About The Role

We are seeking a Web Designer to join our Website Team and shape the user experience of our website. You will join a diverse, talented, cross-functional team and deliver thoughtfully crafted designs for our website and e-commerce that will reach millions of users every month.

Your day to day will include end to end website design, from ideation to implementation and the enhancement of the users' journey. Apart from that, your daily tasks will include collaboration with developers and the marketing team. Your familiarity with Figma or other design tools will be considered a huge plus! And you will not be alone; you will work closely with the Product Design team to align under a single brand vision.

Responsibilities

This position is an individual contributor (IC) role that reports directly to our Senior Product Designers. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Brainstorming creative concepts for our web products such as the website and our ecommerce platform
  • Developing original design concepts, executing designs based on established style guides
  • Participating in visual design presentations and developing design specs for production in the spirit of collaboration;
  • Designing functional and beautiful user interfaces that can reflect our public facing product offering for both our B2C and B2B customers;
  • Working alongside our UX research team to translate thoughtful UX into clean, on-brand, innovative UI;
  • Collaborating with our Marketing team to translate words into powerful landing pages;
  • Supporting front end development throughout the entire design to deployment process to bring static designs to life with pixel perfect precision;
  • Constructing flows, wireframes, Figma prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for our websit

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional user interface design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have past experience designing websites;
  • Experience with web and mobile design, user interaction, and an understanding of responsive design best practices across various devices
  • Excellent visual and interaction skills, with mastery of digital design and high-fidelity prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS (from a perspective of implementation feasibility)
  • Strong systems-thinker who can think beyond pixels and design for holistic user experiences
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate your designs and intent and collaborate with engineers in a remote workplace
  • Data driven and research focused, disciplined in validating design assumptions with real data and user insights;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and remain open to feedback from people in a variety of disciplines
