The Art Director will be responsible for leading the day-to-day (BAU) visual design output across all brands under Independent. This role is purely focused on art direction and design execution, ensuring that all ongoing creative requests are delivered at a high standard and remain aligned with each brand’s established identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day (BAU) visual design direction across all Independent brands, ensuring consistent, high-quality output.
• Oversee the execution of ongoing design requests across multiple touchpoints, including digital, print, packaging, and in-store collateral.
• Ensure all work remains aligned with established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in layout, typography, color, and overall visual systems.
• Develop and present clear visual design direction for BAU initiatives, supporting fast and effective decision-making across brands.
• Review, refine, and approve design work produced by the creative team to ensure it meets brand and quality standards.
• Manage and delegate BAU design tasks across designers, providing structured feedback and guidance to support efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate briefs into strong, practical design solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment from request to final output.
• Maintain organized workflows for BAU design delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and outputs remain consistent across all brands.
• Support the continuous improvement of design systems, templates, and brand assets to streamline execution and elevate overall visual quality.
