You will work directly with brands to understand their goals, shopper pain points, business challenges, and growth opportunities, then translate those insights into clear design direction, prototypes and implementation ready deliverables.

The ideal candidate is curious, hands on, detail oriented, and passionate about design, E-commerce, and user experience. They can balance aesthetics, usability, business impact, and technical feasibility while working in a fast paced, collaborative, low ego environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end brand design project and work directly with clients to understand their brand, business model, target customers, pain points, and E-commerce goals.
  • Translate client conversations, shopper insights, business needs, and merchant data into clear design recommendations and actionable next steps.
  • Design E-commerce experiences across key pages and touch-points and campaign moments.
  • Create clean, modern, and conversion focused designs that support brand storytelling, product discovery, shopper trust, merchandising, and business performance.
  • Build prototypes using Figma, Figma Make, Claude, or other AI assisted prototyping tools to explore, communicate, and validate design ideas.
  • Create visual designs and brand assets for E-commerce experiences.
  • Use user insights, merchant feedback, and business data to identify opportunities and inform design decisions.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations with clear storytelling, strong rationale, and practical guidance.
  • Work closely with solution teams, developers, engineers, and implementation partners to make sure designs are feasible and accurately executed.
  • Prepare clear design files, responsive layouts, annotations, component guidance, interaction notes, and hand-off documentation.
  • Own the end to end quality of the design experience, from discovery and concept development to design delivery, hand-off, implementation review, and final QA.
  • Review implemented designs and provide feedback to ensure the final experience matches the intended design quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, E-commerce design, web design, digital product design, or brand experience design.
  • Strong portfolio showing E-commerce design, responsive web experiences, visual craft, UX thinking, and business impact.
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, shopper journeys, page structures, themes, templates, app integrations, and implementation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of shopper behavior, product discovery, trust building, merchandising, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Ability to understand merchant data, user feedback, and business context, then translate them into practical design decisions.
  • Strong visual and branding skills, with the ability to create polished E-commerce pages, marketing assets, content modules, and brand storytelling moments.
  • Strong business understanding, with the ability to connect design decisions to brand goals, revenue opportunities, customer experience, and client priorities.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain design rationale, present recommendations, and influence clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical teams and prepare clear, implementation ready design files, annotations, and specifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, learn quickly, stay flexible, receive feedback with low ego, and maintain a high bar for quality and detail.
  • Collaborative and direct communicator. You share work early, give and receive feedback well, and know how to align cross functional stakeholders.
