Your Role


RAPP is seeking a Junior Art Director who is eager to grow their creative skills and bring fresh thinking to every project. In this role, you will assist in creating visually compelling designs and concepts across multiple media platforms while learning from and collaborating with senior creatives. This is an opportunity to push boundaries, develop your craft, and contribute to impactful campaigns.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing creative concepts and designs that align with client goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior art directors, designers, and copywriters to execute visually impactful creative campaigns.
  • Create layouts, comps, and designs for various media, including digital, print, social, and more.
  • Adapt design concepts to meet brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh and innovative ideas.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, applying them to your work.
  • Manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines, ensuring all work is polished and ready for presentation.
  • Learn and follow internal processes, from briefing to delivery.

Skills And Experience

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in art direction or graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing creative work.
  • Design Craft: Strong foundation in typography, layout, and composition.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, with the ability to learn, use, and master these tools quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of Keynote, PowerPoint, or Google Slides is a plus.
  • Curiosity about experimenting with AI tools and emerging design technologies.
  • Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Adaptability: Eager to learn, open to feedback, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Our Hybrid Work Model

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
