The Role: Mid-Weight UX & UI Designer

As a mid-weight UX & UI designer, you'll play a key role in:

  • Supporting the team on website redesigns for new clients.
  • Enhancing design systems and improving existing websites for retainer clients.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow designers to deliver outstanding, detail-oriented work.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the design team to create unique design systems from scratch or follow existing brand guidelines.
  • Design pixel-perfect modular components across all breakpoints.
  • Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes — incorporating animations and micro-interactions.
  • Participate in client-facing design presentations and workshops.
  • Document design systems and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Mentor junior designers and support their growth.

Core Skills & Requirements

  • Proficient in Figma, with a deep understanding of:
    • Components
    • Auto-layout
    • Design systems
    • Libraries
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, After Effects, Principle, or other prototyping tools.
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality design work, with insight into your research and process.
  • Strong visual communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Understanding of e-commerce usability and design best practices.
  • Enjoyment of animation, micro-interactions, and visual experimentation.
  • A passion for fashion and luxury.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Curiosity-driven and eager to learn new tools and techniques.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
