Over 600,000 entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses, and enterprises call WeWork home, but we’re not done yet—and that’s where you come in.Coming out of our exciting brand refresh, our growing creative team is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to take WeWork’s brand storytelling to the next level. As our lead designer, we’ll look to you to help push our visual identity while maintaining global scale and consistency. You’ll manage and mentor fellow designers and collaborate closely with copywriters, producers, and marketing partners to create compelling work. With your concepts and designs, you’ll come up with new ways to connect audiences to WeWork’s products and solutions—inspiring customers through multichannel marketing, including digital and print advertising campaigns, emails, events, videos, and more.About You

You’re a senior designer with a passion for brand building and visual storytelling. You lead with empathy in all of your projects—problem solving to meet the needs of a brief while pushing the creative forward. Not just a great designer, you’re also a strategic and conceptual thinker and self-starter, coming up with bold ideas that unlock new opportunities. You can expertly present your work and always come to the table with an open mind and collaborative attitude. You’re incredibly attentive to detail and are always thinking on your feet, able to pivot in a fast-paced environment while not missing a beat. You’ve managed junior designers in the past and can foster a culture that brings out the best in others’ creativity.Responsibilities

  • Own brand’s visual identity and graphic design vertical
  • Refine, evolve, and maintain brand identity standards and expressions across the WeWork experience (i.e. campaigns, digital ads, sales materials, in-building signage, events, etc)
  • Conceptualize, develop, and design marketing collateral and campaigns across channels
  • Establish best practices, tools, and assets to support sales, marketing, and other business groups
  • Provide art direction to freelance designers and creative agency partners.
  • Responsible for the art direction of brand photo and video shoots and creative production.
  • Clearly articulate design rationale to cross-functional partners and senior executives
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to design global and localized sales materials
  • Expertly manage project timelines, personal workflow, schedules, and deadlines
  • Approach all projects with a strategic lens—strong systems-thinking and storytelling skill set
  • Manage and mentor junior designers and help guide their career development

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have 8+ years of experience in-house at a brand-forward company or at a creative agency
  • Advanced understanding of typography, grid, layout, and color
  • Advanced understanding of paid social and digital advertising best practices
  • Experienced with motion graphics and After Effects
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Slides
  • A dynamic portfolio showcasing strengths in brand design and art direction
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communicator
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related visual communication design field
  • Candidates must submit a proper portfolio in order to be considered for the position

Compensation & Benefits


Base Pay:
$101,250 - 140,000


Incentive Compensation:

WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, Life & AD&D insurance.
