As a Senior UX & UI Designer, you will take ownership of new design projects from discovery through to delivery. You’ll support ongoing projects, contribute to cutting-edge creative solutions, and help push the boundaries of what’s possible in e-commerce design.

A sharp attention to detail, love for beautiful, bespoke design, and enthusiasm for collaboration are essential.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create unique design systems from scratch
  • Own new design projects from discovery and research through to final delivery
  • Design pixel-perfect, modular components across responsive breakpoints
  • Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes, including animations and micro-interactions
  • Conduct customer and brand research alongside our strategy team
  • Lead design presentations and workshops with clients
  • Ensure documentation of designs aligns with our standards
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-weight designers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and software updates
  • Research independently to stay ahead of trends and innovations
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Proactively improve Limesharp’s design process

Core Skills

  • Expert-level Figma skills (components, auto-layout, design systems, libraries)
  • Proficient in Photoshop and animation/prototyping tools (After Effects, Principle, etc.)
  • Strong portfolio with examples of high-quality work and design thinking
  • Deep understanding of (and ability to challenge) e-commerce usability guidelines
  • A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working and ideating with other designers
  • Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding less experienced designers
  • Curious, self-driven, and always eager to learn
  • Strong visual communication and a keen eye for detail
  • Strategic thinker who knows when to break design rules and when to follow them
  • Comfortable questioning briefs and tailoring presentations to client needs
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Passionate about motion and interactive design
  • Excellent verbal and written English
