Technical Content Creator

Job Description

FOX Factory is looking for a Technical Content Creator to turn complex mountain bike technology into clear, compelling stories for riders.

Location: Mountain Bike Marketing Team
Role: Technical Content Creator
Industry: Cycling / Outdoor / Performance

Working across product, engineering, athletes and marketing, you’ll create content around FOX suspension, components and technologies — from product launches and technical articles to web, email, social and dealer materials.

What you’ll do

  • Write technical and marketing content for forks, shocks, dropper posts and related products
  • Translate complex engineering into accessible rider-focused stories
  • Create product launch copy, articles, web content, emails and educational materials
  • Interview athletes, engineers and product teams
  • Develop content around setup, tuning, maintenance and performance
  • Support launches, races, events and product testing
  • Keep FOX’s technical language and brand voice consistent across channels

What they’re looking for

You’re an excellent writer who genuinely understands mountain biking. You know how bike components and suspension systems work, but more importantly, you know how to explain them without making the story feel overly technical.

You’ll ideally bring 3+ years of experience in content, technical writing or marketing communications, plus experience or a strong connection to cycling, outdoor or performance products.

Knowledge of suspension tuning, SEO, CMS tools, photography, video scripting and integrated campaigns is a plus.

The sweet spot

Mountain bikes + technical knowledge + storytelling.

FOX is looking for someone who can understand what happens inside the product — and explain why it matters once you’re on the trail.
