UX Design Illustrator

Job Description

A leading organization is hiring a UX Designer with Illustration skills to join their team. This role offers a temporary engagement in our client’s innovative environment. The position requires a creative and skilled designer eager to apply their expertise in digital illustration and product design at an exciting company focused on engaging visual experiences.

*** Location can be Glendale, Burbank, Seattle or Orlando ***

12 month contract + extend

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday onsite (Friday remote) and may be some flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end UI digital product design, from concept through execution and final delivery
  • Create illustrations, wireframes, sketches, visual designs, and high-quality graphics
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand project scope, user needs, and business goals
  • Evolve and extend existing visual design systems in line with industry standards
  • Contribute to and refine design patterns to elevate overall product quality
  • Present design concepts and visual explorations to stakeholders, including leadership
  • Deliver production-ready assets with a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Participate in critiques, reviews, and collaborative brainstorming sessions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional design experience across branded campaigns, commerce, hospitality, or entertainment projects
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating illustrations, visual storytelling across multiple styles and mediums
  • Experience applying a user-first design approach to product development
  • Solid foundation in visual design principles (layout, color theory, 2D design, animation)
  • Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience with interactive prototyping
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or equivalent practical experience

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
