Julia Miceli Pitta is a Creative Director, Multidisciplinary Designer and Educator based between London and Barcelona. Working at the intersection of art, design and storytelling, she creates concept-driven identities, design systems and digital experiences that challenge convention while bringing bold ideas to life.
With a passion for questioning the status quo, Julia founded her own design studio in 2020, and since then has collaborated with leading brands and studios including BUCK, Nike, KOTO, Apple, &Walsh, Netflix and Metalab. Her work focuses on building thoughtful visual systems that balance strategy, culture and craft across both print and digital media.
Alongside her practice, Julia is the Director of the MA in Art Direction at LABASAD, where she leads the programme and encourages a more intentional, curious and independent approach to design.

As a Latina woman who has worked in the creative industry as a creative and artistic director for over 10 years, I know the struggles of thriving as a design leader in a male-dominated industry. As I want to be part of the change I want to see, we'll talk about leadership, how to overcome being the only woman in the room, not being afraid to think differently, standing out from the crowd, and pushing design forward as a leader and not someone who follows the rules.
We'll sit together to break down your goals, ideas and look at the overall visual language of your portfolio and how your projects work in context; leaving the room with a better understanding of your own work, and how to build a killer portfolio. I'm keen to share the knowledge I've accumulated over the years. So whether you’re just starting out with a new venture, or have an established career, I’m excited to help you get to where you want to go.
