Senior Brand Designer

Job Description

About the Role

Day Job is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help develop thoughtful, hard-working brand systems for a diverse range of clients.

This role focuses on building strategically grounded identity systems that are both visually distinctive and highly usable across real-world applications. The ideal candidate combines strong visual taste with structured thinking, translating strategy into clear design systems that scale across packaging, digital, marketing, and product environments.

You’ll collaborate closely with Creative Directors and the wider design team to develop brand concepts, refine identity systems, and carry projects through production. The role also includes opportunities to present work directly to clients, mentor junior designers, and contribute to the studio’s evolving design standards and processes.

- Client Communication
Present work to clients and clearly articulate design rationale. Navigate complex conversations, respond constructively to feedback, and maintain confidence in creative decisions.

- Taste
Bring strong visual references and cultural awareness across industries. Consistently produce work that feels considered, restrained, and intentional.

Support and mentor Designers and Junior Designers, providing thoughtful feedback alongside Creative Directors. Contribute to the studio’s evolving design standards, workflows, and creative culture, and occasionally lead internal training sessions or workshops.
